This previous long weekend was
spent by most Capetonians chilling in the comfort of their homes watching sport
or away with family.
Well there were a few of us that decided to travel to
Buffalo Drift, Ruigetvlei Farm just outside of Gouda. What a super venue and
right next to the Berg River, which was a nice cool down when the sun came out
to play on Sunday and Monday.
The Jungala crew really welcomed us to their
jungle with amazing decor that you sometimes got lost in. The sound setup was superb; the music was as if you could feel it running wild through you. Let’s not forget the
tribal acts we had entertaining us. From overseas tribesman who blew us away
such as Cortex, Dust and Vertigo, who absolutely killed that last set on Sunday. Our
own local guys brought the magic again; Disco Volante, Sad Paradise, Static
Flow and Tune Raider made us proud. Not to mention that set from Bruce that
really got the Monday stomp going. Overall a great weekend well spent in the
wilderness.
